Cultural heritage comes in many shapes and forms, also in Science:
tangible for example microscopes, research centres, computerized axial
tomography machines; intangible for example the Scientific’s effort and
constancy to spread the knowledge in order to improve people’s health
and wellbeing; natural for example the electromagnetic radiation
spectrum or microscopic world with its fauna and flora and digital shape
that includes digital creations as a way to preserve the scientific
cultural heritage.
This project will start in March and regarding the 8th International women day we would like to highlight the contribution of women to the Science. Starting with pioneer women who fought to make visible women's achievements in science to nowadays scientific women in hospitals, chemistry and physics laboratories and research centres.
This project aims to build digital creations as a way to preserve the contribution of women to science and pay tribute to all women who contribute to improving

Starting with pioneer women who fought to make visible women's achievements in science to nowadays scientific women in hospitals, chemistry and physics laboratories and research centres.
This project aims to build digital creations as a way to preserve the contribution of women to science and pay tribute to all women who contribute to improving
Aims
This project will help us:
- To better learn scientific women names all over the history and share their contributions to Science
- To concrete suggestions about how to carry out collaborative products as digital books, presentations, infographics, etc
- To have access to videos of inspiring practice and other support material
- To work in teams improving our communication and social skills
- To discuss, share, and reflect on this topic: which women and how they improve the scientific knowledge.
- To use a variety of online tools and social media to communicate and engage in some amazing activities.
Work process
- According to monthly plans from March to June we create digital material about women in Science. At the beginning of the month we share the plan and select the women.
- Students will create a digital material in which the contribution of the scientific will be shown and a digital activity to review and check the information as a team or peer review.
- Students and teachers will spread the project with educational purposes in as many places as possible.
Expected results
- Project journal in which monthly plan will be announced
- Friendship and improvement of social and communication skills
- Twinspace in which all thoughts and digital material will be planned, shown and assessed by the students and thoughts
- Digital material to be shared by all the schools in order to be used as class material, for example digital book, infographics, puzzles, learning activities (learningapps), visual bookmarking tool that makes it easy to find the scientific women’s contribution (Symbaloo).
