The project aims at building up equity and fair attitudes, helping students who have fewer opportunities. It aims at tackling intolerance and discrimination, at promoting acceptance, respect for diversity and human rights. Τhe overall goal is to contribute to an inclusive perspective in education.

Aims

Students are expected to
  • become sensitive to injustice and inequality
  • fight intolerance and violence
  • foster anti-bullying behaviors
  • build up self-esteem
  • promote respect for others
  • aquire a responsible attitude to social issues
  • improve english as a foreign language
  • improve communicative and social skills in international context
Work process

Cooperation with partners on a weekly basis. Chat with founders and all participating teachers. Live event between countries.
Duration of project: 6 months. Monthly agenda of the work. Voting on certain activities eg. project logo. Questionnaires. Final evaluation.
Students will be divided in international teams with different names. In every team, there will be (at least) one pupil from each country.
There will be a forum section of each team. Each team's work will be monitored by a certain teacher.
Students will have to perform certain educational activities (mostly through web2 tools) which will be assigned to them through the "pages" section.
Commitment of all students in the activities.

Expected results

  • Twinspace in public mode at the end of the project
  • Raise awareness about the topic at school, organising a school event with a professional speaker on the topic
  • Radio broadcast with the school radio team about the project and the issue of inclusion
